Ants, they're everywhere. Sometimes I think they are gonna take over the whole world. If you're like me you've tried everything from sprays to powders to dusts. Did'nt none of it work did it? Get yourself a bag of cornmeal from your grocery store, put a small pile down near where you see ants running around. The ants will gather it, take it home and eat it. Ants can't digest it, so it kills them. Might take a couple of weeks but it works. Cornmeal is cheap, easy to find, get the real cornmeal, not the cornmeal mix as thats mixed with flour. Feed your enemies and get rid of your ants.

I'm not sure what these are. there thin lite tannish worm like ants. I first found them under an appliance in the kitchen where cerael boxes were left out. They were later found in the bottom of a cereal boxs .I threw out all the cereal that was on the counter, in the outside trash. You don't see them, they are under the boxes or appliance. Tonight I left a ice cream cake on the counter with the cover on it. After a short time , I went to put it back in the freezer and there was maybe, 40 or 50 of them under the plate. The two times I found them, I didn't spray insect killer, I used hot soapy water and a cloth. After cleaning the counter, I used clorox wipes to clean it. And threw away the cloth. We do have alot of flies here because of the horses next door. And, I have tomatoe growing out back, that I just recently have put in the kitchen bay window. But, my tomatoes have been in the kitchen for weeks. And I never see them on that side of the counter or near them . There's no trail to follow them. I here egyptian ants don't leave a trail to follow either. I would say they are about 1/4 inch long. Please help me figure out what they are. and how to get rid of them. We live in Las Vegas NV. In an area where there's alot of desert area around. thanks for your time,

Lisa

Afraid I can't help you there. Could be meal worms. Maybe someone here will read this and post a reply.
